The simple & cost effective process we follow is to attach a flexible profiled seal or brush seal around the perimeter of the door frame. We then fit a plastic carrier containing a long brush pile to the bottom edge of the door. The end result is a door effectively sealed on all edges from cold winter draughts.

As all doors have slightly different requirments. One of our multi-trade handymen will arrive, assess your timber door and agree with you the best ways to draught proof your door and which method is visually acceptable to you. He will then carry out the draught proofing of your door in the same visit.

We charge our standard 'by time' rates to draught proof a front door. Expect the draught proofing of a front or back door to take 60-90 minutes. The handyman will always give you an accurate estimate before he starts the work.

We charge £50+vat for the first half-hour and £30+vat for any half-hour thereafter.
