Shave Swollen Doors
Silver Saints is London's premier handyman service. We employ a
team of multi-skilled and experienced handymen.
Do you have a door that will not close, normally its either
swollen, some settlement in the building has taken the frame
slightly out of square or you may simply have had new flooring
fitted that is catching on the botttom of the door.
Our competent handymen can plane or adjust your door so that it
closes again. We will check the locks and latches once
complete to ensure that they all line up and you have a fully
functional closing door again.

How Much?
We would charge by time for minor carpentry work, £40+VAT for
the first half-hour and £20+VAT thereafter.
How Long?
Expect it to take between 30 to 60 minutes to shave a door, this
largely depends on the side that needs to be planed and whether we
need to remove the door.
What Else?
After the door has been planed there will be an exposed wooden
edge we can paint this with a primer but if you would like a
matching finish such as a gloss we will need to make a return visit
due to paint drying times.
We bring all the tools and fixings all we need you need to
provide is your broken door.
