Silver Saints

Living out of London I always feel out of the loop with plumbers and builders, and quite vulnerable, where do you start to find someone reliable and honest? I can happily say that all those worries are behind me now, Silver Saints have provided a first class service, very personal and completely professional. I feel so much more confident now that I know they source the best people for the job and charge a reasonable amount of money. No hitches or glitches, just get on with the job and leave it all immaculate at the end, perfect.

Just to let you know, Roger from Silver Saints turned up exactly as required this morning and has now fixed the doors. The parts arrived on time too last night. I would just like to add that this is one of the very best services I have ever come across. Everything was done exceedingly well from start to finish. Our flat has hollow walls. We needed two wardrobes fixing to the walls and a picture hung. Just before he (Stan) arrived the front door handle had come off. As it is integral to the door lock the builder required a new part and was unable to fix until the next day. Stan did the jobs we requested and managed to get the door and locks to work properly until they could be replaced. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

I am writing to tell you how pleased we were with the Silver Saints service - my nanny said that the handyman was courteous and friendly, and moreover we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and will definitely use your service again. We both work full time and have three children so it is wonderful to find a service that is easy to use.

We've used Silver Saints twice, now: once to fix the temperature of a shower and once to plumb in a dishwasher in an awkward place, across the kitchen from the water source and waste pipe. Both times we were impressed. On the second occasion, in particular, we tried to book a slot online (a good service in itself). The website for some reason let us book for Sunday. We got an email and phone call almost straight away to tell us that this was a mistake and to offer us alternative slots. The end result was that we were able to get someone to come out that afternoon - Saturday - to do a faffy and time-consuming job plumbing the dishwasher in. The first job was cheaper than I expected. The second was pricier than I expected, but it did take time and involve materials - and was on a Saturday afternoon. Both guys were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A great service - happy to recommend them and will use them again.

Roger has just left after hanging three pendant lights for me (none of them straightforward!) and I just wanted to say how delighted I am with his work. He's a lovely chap and has done a brilliant job.

I was very pleased with the service from your company. There are so many service providers where the service is almost non existent and the provider appears to doing the customer a favour. So it was really good that you have a capable person picking up telephone calls and you deliver on the service. I particularly liked that you met an agreed time to visit, rather than ‘’some time in the afternoon’’.

Eric undertook a variety of jobs, putting up vertical, wooden, roller and roman blinds as well as replacing a number of light fittings, assembling a CD case and putting a draught excluder on the door. He advised me on a number of issues including using low energy bulbs with dimmer switches. The all round service that Silver Saints provide is exceptional and quality of work second to none. I would definitely use Silver Saints again and am happy to recommend them to others.

Stan arrived 10 minurtes early to fix our sash Windows. It was all done in less than an hour, no mess, no fuss and a fixed cost. A great service which we will undoubtably use again and will also recommend to people we know.

I wanted to let you know that your employee Luke visited my property this morning to complete several DIY jobs. Not only was he very professional, he left my property in immaculate condition, reconnected my many wires to their sockets and put all my heavy furniture back in the correct position. The service we received from Luke was courteous, efficient and unobtrusive. He was really patient with my inquisitive toddler, and went out of his way to solve the problem of a faulty shower door that he was trying to fit - even going personally to 4 or 5 different places to find a replacement. The list of things he fixed in our flat probably didn't look that complex, but they have collectively made it a nicer place to live. Thank you!
